Kaz is widely recognized across California as an expert in storm water compliance. For 29 years, he worked for the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, San Francisco Bay Region. While serving as Construction Storm Water Program Coordinator for the region, he was a member of the State’s Task Force responsible for drafting the previous NPDES General Permit for construction, and has extensive experience with construction-related water quality issues and implementing Best Management Practices (BMPs) for construction activities. He holds two BS degrees, in Geology and Chemical Engineering.
As Principal, Kaz is committed to developing collaborative approaches for realistic, cost-effective, sustainable solutions to environmental problems. He also fervently believes in continuing education and training for all stakeholders, with the goal of benefitting the planet.
Passionate about environmental issues and advocacy, he is an avid gardener, family man, and lifelong learner.
