UC Berkeley’s Memorial Stadium needed extensive renovations, to be completed for the opening of the 2012 football season.
The renovation consisted of demolishing the west side of the stadium and then constructing new club levels, a press box, bathrooms, and concession stands. In addition, the field was lowered four feet.
UC Berkeley hired Kaz & Associates as the environmental consultant during the extensive remodel, from 2010 through 2012. During the renovation, they consulted on detailed storm water planning and monitoring in order to preserve and maintain the natural resources located within the beautiful UC Berkeley campus. Kaz & Associates also ensured project compliance with local and state storm water regulations, all while working to meet the demand and firm deadline for the football season’s 2012 opening.
